The vision behind UNDA

There's one island I will never forget. San Blas, Panama. Tiny – a 40-minute walk all the way round – and home to the Kuna.

A storm overnight, and in the morning the whole beach is buried under plastic washed up from the open sea. The Kuna didn't cause it. They don't even need things like that. That image stuck with me.

Weeks later, a festival in Germany: the same mountain of waste, only this time home-made. A 100-litre bag per person, full to the brim with single-use cups and bottles that nobody really needs.

These two experiences became one idea: a product that means less single-use waste – and makes life a little easier along the way. That's how UNDA was born.

Keine befriedigende Antwort. Also erfand er sie selbst.

From sketch to Kickstarter favourite

What started as a notepad drawing became reality with a professional product designer – supported by an innovation grant from the IBB. The road was anything but straight: the launch coincided with the start of the coronavirus pandemic. The first crowdfunding campaign had to be cancelled – an exceptional case that cost nerves but left no doubt.

The second attempt was a success. The Kickstarter team named the campaign a team favourite.

UNDA was born.

Über 300 Einwegflaschen und Einwegbecher

The problem is bigger than you think

In Germany alone, each person uses an average of 210 single-use bottles and 130 single-use cups a year. These aren't abstract numbers. This is reality – and it can be changed.

More than a bottle

The answer: Swiss Made, multifunctional and optimised for everyday use.

The UNDA isn't just another water bottle. It's a smart answer to a real problem – designed for real everyday situations:

- Water bottle and cup in one – no more single-use cups
- Built-in snack box – one product instead of three
- Swiss Made quality – durable, BPA-free, dishwasher-safe
- Only 175 g and easy to carry with a cord or carabiner. Goes wherever you go

At home, at work, travelling or at the gym – the UNDA adapts to you. Not the other way round.

Together against single-use waste

Recycling is good. Using less is better. Producing no waste at all is the goal.

Because the most effective way to fight single-use waste isn't sorting it – it's not creating it in the first place. Every plastic bottle you don't buy. Every single-use cup you don't take. Every snack bag you replace with the UNDA box. It adds up – to hundreds of single-use items per year, per person.

The UNDA is your everyday tool for that. Not once a week. Not just at festivals. Every. Single. Day.

We invented the UNDA because we believe: reusables shouldn't be inconvenient. They should be better.
